Our Vision and Mission for Eye Health

Our mission is to prevent blindness, enhance the quality of life, and empower individuals to Lead active and fulfilling lives by providing equitable access to eye care. We think that healthy vision is essential for personal, education, and career development.

Our Key Initiatives in Eye Health

We have taken the initiative to organize regular camps and screenings for rural communities across the country with free eye checks and early treatment of vision abnormalities. This provides an opportunity for identifying problems related to cataracts, refractive errors, and other related eye diseases if left untreated leads to blindness. Our association collaborates with local hospitals and providers to conduct free cataract surgeries for the many people who need it. Cataract is one of the most common causes of blindness, and our efforts are in progress toward reducing its impact.

Eyewear Distribution:

We also offer the distribution of free eyeglasses to individuals diagnosed with refractive error as support. This brings massive benefits to improvement in vision, enabling people to go about their daily activities more easily.

Eye Health Awareness Campaigns:

We conduct educational workshops and awareness programs to enlighten the community on the need for eye care, common vision problems, and preventive measures. This campaign emphasizes regular eye check-ups, proper nutrition, and protection from harmful UV rays as good habits.

Training Local Healthcare Workers:

We train the local healthcare workers and volunteers in the basic eye health. They then educate their communities, refer the patient to seek further treatment, and assist in screening.
